Confusing and suspicious, huh?
A few days ago, in a frelance job provider website, a guy had some $40.00 (more or less, pardon me if I can't recall) job, which he wanted Wi-Destination to do for him. It was a small modification of some files, and some changes, but to my surprise, he was not clear with his requirement. Since my Project Lead was about to lose his mind, I took the charge and nosed on that "project" (if at all it could be called so!). But either I was so dumb (FYI, I've been the key part of Wi-Destination for the last 3 years) or he was non-legible- after even 48 working hours, I was still there where I was. In the mean time, due to some storm and heavy rainfall, we had to stop our work for some time. When I intimated that client about that disaster, he just didn't believe me! And in his weird English, he started scaring me to take the "project" away! And he did! What's more, in even more weird English, he gave us feedback on that job-providing website, calling me liar, and the most humiliating part was he had written that "I" was alone in Wi-Destination Solutions® and when I had told him I had a team here, I was "lying"!
All 22 members of Wi-Destination got offended. Our President, Mr. A.K.Mitra, warned me "not" to be harsh on clients; clients are always right.
Now, I think, I can understand where the confusion was- why he (and perhaps others) think "It's all me!".
In my previous post, I wrote in our official blog about how Wi-Destination started(The vision of a journey). There I stated how the journey of Wi-Destination started, and what's in it about me. Since I am connected everywhere, where there is Wi-Destination, no wonder all certifications, credentials and posts are achieved, monitored or written by myself! So what's the big deal?
Now, even that guy with weird English had "more reviews than us" (not to mention we prefer working on direct projects),without even asking anyone of us, concluded that "I am Wi-Destination". My request to others, please don't get such confusions (and certainly don't abuse me with bad English). It doesn't hurt me, or hurts a little, but my people get frustrated! :)
